Our mission
Every child and family deserves the chance to thrive
Supporting Children's Pathways helps children and families facing educational and life challenges with access to quality education, alternative learning pathways, and a nurturing community across Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas — no formal diagnosis required.
Through mentorship and educational programmes, we aim to break cycles of disadvantage and empower the next generation with the skills and confidence to build a brighter future.
Our approach
Alternative pathways when mainstream school isn’t the right fit
Many children with Special Educational Needs thrive outside the traditional classroom. We fund and champion learning that meets them where they are.
Life skills
Coaching that prepares young people for everyday independence and community life.
Vocational experience
Hands-on pathways including construction, catering and other practical trades.
Movement & development
Primitive Reflex Therapy and related support to strengthen sensory-motor foundations.
We also help families navigate Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), filling gaps where schools and local authorities are underfunded.
Grant provision
Funding support for ages 6 to 25
We provide grants to service providers who support children and young people — whether or not they have a SEN diagnosis or an EHCP.
Each application is reviewed by our Trustees before funding decisions are made.
